A Little About Us

SAG3 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is dedicated to serving the homeless, domestic violence and cancer survivors in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. This is provided through mentoring programs and providing basic necessities and gifts to those in need.
Tammy S. Thomas started SAG3 to help her community reinvest in family traditions and the importance of family values. SAG3 helps all, but is deeply concerned about the children that have been affected by abuse or are homeless because of domestic violence.

How SAG3 Was Named

Picture
• The "S" is the first initial of the matriarch of the family, Stella Holmes.
• The "A" is the first initial of the patriarch of the family, Arthur Thomas.

Together, they formed a strong and vital generation of young men and women that gave birth to Generation 3.

Stella Ray Thomas and Arthur Thomas passed down traditions and values to their children that will carry on to new generations of men and women. As children, generation 3 was taught vital values and disciplines. Two that we honor are:
• Violence is never the answer
• Give back more than you take

We couldn't carry out our mission without our Volunteers. Whether you volunteer at special events, donate or serve on the board; we appreciate each and everyone of you for helping us fulfill our goals.
